Notice of the Annual General Meetings for 2025

Dear Member

Please be advised that the Lancashire Heeler Association will be holding the AGM for 2025 on

Saturday 24th May 2025 

at Bearley Village Hall, Snitterfield Road, Stratford Upon Avon, CV37 0SR at 10.00am.

Please note the following points and dates for your diary in connection with the AGM.

1. Officers and Committee for Association for the period up to the AGM 2025.

President Ms Jacky Cutler Term expires at AGM 2025

Hon. Chairman Mr Dubhglas Gray Term expires at AGM 2025

Hon. Secretary Mrs Trisha Bellinger Term expires at AGM 2027

Hon. Treasurer Mrs Debbie Felstead Term expires at AGM 2026

Committee 1 Vacant Term expires at AGM 2027

Committee 2 Vacant Term expires at AGM 2025

Committee 3 Mrs Alison Lawrence Term expires at AGM 2025

Committee 4 Vacant Term expires at AGM 2026

Committee 5 Vacant Term expires at AGM 2025

Committee 6 Mrs Jenny Grant-Parks Term expires at AGM 2027

Committee 7 Vacant Term expires at AGM 2026

Committee 8 Mr Wayne Travis Term expires at AGM 2027

2. The following officer and committee members’ term expires in 2025 and they are therefore

required to be nominated for re-election and have agreed to stand.

• Mr Dubhglas Gray standing for re-election to Officer position of Chairman

• Mrs Alison Lawrence standing for re-election to committee position 3

• Ms Jacky Cutler standing for re-election as President

Members standing/re-standing for election to the positions stated will serve a term of three years up

to the AGM in 2028.

In total 1 officer position and 6 committee member positions are available for nomination by

members, in accordance with the LHA Rules & Regulations, the length of available term is variable.

The Secretary, Trisha Bellinger, must receive nominations for these positions by Saturday 3rd May

2025 at the latest.

3. Honorary Life Members.

Any nominations for Honorary Life membership need to be with the Secretary Trisha Bellinger by

Saturday 3rd May 2025 at the latest. Nominations can be made by post or by email.

4. Agenda Items

Any member may submit an item for inclusion on the agenda for the 2025 AGM which should be

received by the Secretary at least twenty-one (21) days before the date of the AGM, duly proposed

and seconded by fully paid up members.

Please be clear what it is you will be asking members to vote on. If your item is not clear it may not be

included in the agenda.

Please ensure that the Secretary, Trisha Bellinger, receives your items by Saturday 3rd May

2025. Items received after this date cannot be included in the agenda.

5. Postal Votes

Members who wish to vote on agenda items by post or are not able to attend the AGM must ensure

that the Secretary, Trisha Bellinger, receives their clear instructions by Saturday 10th May 2025. (First

class post is recommended, due to the timescales defined by the LHA Rules & Regulations).

Members MAY NOT vote to elect members to the committee by email (This is a Kennel Club rule that

is incorporated into the Association’s rules). Elections to the Committee can only be made by members

in person or by POSTAL vote.

The Agenda & Balance sheet will be available at the AGM and if requested via the Secretary can be

distributed to a member fourteen days before the meeting by email or post.

▪ Sat 3rd May 2025 - Last date to post (1st class) committee nominations and agenda items to the

Secretary.

▪ Sat 3rd May 2025 - Last date to post (1st class) Honorary Life membership nominations to the Secretary.

▪ Sat 3rd May 2025 - Last date to email committee nominations and agenda items to the Secretary.

▪ Sat 10th May 2025 - Agenda etc, available on request from the Secretary.

▪ Sat 10th May 2025 - Last date for receipt of postal votes for nominated committee members standing

for election.
